2023/24 Season - all of the information you need to know!

Registration

Due to insurance requirements, the club must impose a ‘No Pay No Play’ policy. This means that players must register and the registration fee must be paid before they can take part in any sessions. To register and for information on fees see below.

Communication

This year we will be using the app ‘Heja’ for communication in all junior teams. This will allow us to track attendance at games and sessions without the need for parents or guardians to share their mobile number in WhatsApp groups.

Please download the app from the website https://heja.io or search for ‘Heja’ in your applicable App Store. Team passcodes will be shared when you register.

Website

We’ve also updated our website address. It can now be accessed via ccwaterpolo.com so if friends and family are interested in the sport and want to know more, send them here.

Return to training

  • Seniors - Wednesday 16 August, Grove, 8.00 to 9.30

  • Juniors - Thursday 7 September, Falls, 6.45 to 9.45

  • BRA - TBC

This season we are encouraging all members to be in the water at least twice a week. For our youngest members this should be a swimming lesson and a water polo session. for our older members, it should be two session with us and more time in the pool swimming with team mates.

If there is anything we can do to help, whether it’s lift sharing to training, session plans or information on swimming lessons, speak to your coach.

Information evening

We will be hosting an information evening on Thursday 7 September in the Falls Leisure Centre at 7.00 to 8.00.

  • Update for teams ahead of the new season.

  • Information on training opportunities.

  • A chance to register online if you haven’t already.

  • Tea and coffee with other parents and members.

  • Information on club gear and clothing including ‘pre-loved’

  • Volunteering opportunities.

We’d encourage all parents to come along, even if it’s just for a catch up over a cup of tea!

Competitions

National league fixtures have been published and can be found on the Swim Ireland App and Website (links below). Ulster Branch are working to finalize local fixtures, which will include plenty of opportunities for our U9 and U11 teams.
