Cú Chulainn and North Belfast

One of our founder clubs was Grads Water Polo Club, which was based in the Grove and enjoyed great success in the area.

We’ve historically had a session in North Belfast and have great links with local primary and secondary schools (in particular, St Malachy’s College and BRA).

Our junior session didn’t resume after Covid, but we think the time is right to grow the sport for boys in the north of the city.

Happy New Year!

Returning to the pool in 2025

We’re back in the pool this week, seniors starting on Wednesday 8th and juniors on Thursday 9th January.

U-11s in action in Bangor Blitz

Some of our U11s were in action on Sunday 5th January when they took part in Bangor’s New Year Blitz. They lost to Newry by a goal before going on to beat Bangor’s A and B teams. Well done to all who braved the cold!
