Ireland water polo has published the fourth version of the 2018 / 2019 fixtures (1 October 2018).

The fixtures are subject to change. Up to date fixtures can be found on the Ireland Water Polo website. The fixtures section of the Cú Chulainn website will be updated shortly with details of all of the competitions that we are invovled in.

If you're a player or the parent of a player, please check the fixtures and make a note of all of the dates and times that you should keep free. If you have any questions, let us know.

• First U16 League games: Sunday 9 and Sunday 16 December, NAC Dublin

• First MNLD3 game: Saturday 22 September, Lisburn

• First MNLD1 game: Sunday 7 October, Lisburn

• Cú Chulainn Bridgestone Tournament: Friday 28 to Sunday 30 September, Belfast

• U19 Cup: Friday 23 to Sunday 25 November, Univeristy of Limerick

• U17 Cup: Friday 25 to Sunday 27 January, Lisburn

• U15 Cup: Saturday 4 May to Monday 6 May, Galway

• U13 Cup: May, NAC Dublin

• Brother Philip Knock Out Cup: Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 February NAC Dublin

• Irish Senior Cup Qualifier: Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 January, NAC Dublin

• Irish Senior Cup: Thursday 25 to Saturday 27 April, NAC Dublin

Training times for 2018/2019 season

Senior

Pre-season training starts on Tuesday 14th August (9-10) and Thursday 16th August (8.30 to 9.30).

Pre-season is open to all players aged 15 and above who are interested in Division 1 or Division 3 senior men's polo.

The National Leagues will commence on the weekend of 15th and 16th September. When the fixtures have been published, senior players will be notified and the fixtures posted on this site.

Junior

Sessions will resume the week commencing the Monday 3rd September. The Tuesday evening session in BRA resumes on Tuesday 19th September.

The U16 League, which Cu Chulainn have entered, will commence on the weekend of 8th and 9th of September.

Registration

Registration will be available at all sessions throughout September. Every member who is competing in matches must register with the club by filing out the club membership form and paying the annual registration fee before the end of September. Camlough Lake Water Festival 2018

CLWF 2018

This year's Camlough Lake Water Festival takes place at Camlough Lake on 10, 11 and 12 August.

The senior men are entering a team to the All Ireland Open Water Water Polo Championships and will camp at the lake from Friday 11 to Sunday 12.

A number of open water swims for U16s and seniors are taking place across the three days of the festival, as well as triathlons and the U16 Try-a-Tri. Details of the events taking place across the weekend can be found below.

If any players are interested in taking part in either the water polo competition of any of the other events taking place across the weekend, please get in touch.

Summer Break

Seniors

Senior sessions have finished for the summer.

Pre-season will start at the beginning of August. Senior players will be notified by email. U17s and U19s should also plan to attend pre-season. 

Juniors

The final junior sessions before the summer break are as follows: 

• BRA - Tuesday 5th June,
• Grove - Wednesday 6th June,
•  Falls - Thursday 14th June.

Junior session will resume towards the end of August. Parents and players will be informed when the bookings have been confirmed.
